Health Plan of Nevada

Health Plan of Nevada is a subsidiary of Sierra Health Services. Since 1982, the company has provided healthcare coverage at an affordable price to employer groups and individuals, including Medicare-eligible individuals.

Health Plan of Nevada offers a number of HMO plans, all of which provide access to an extensive provider network that includes Southwest Medical Associates, Nevada's largest multi-specialty medical group; a choice of primary care providers; benefits for office visits, hospitalization and prescriptions; affordable co-payments for most covered services; no deductibles or claim forms; and optional dental and vision coverage.

Health Plan of Nevada also offers PPO plans that allow members to choose a contracted or non-contracted provider and still remain eligible for benefits.

Finally, Health Plan of Nevada is also under contract with Medicare to arrange health care for Medicare beneficiaries, including those who are disabled. Its Senior Dimensions division provides all the benefits of Medicare and the freedom to select a plan that is designed to meet your health care needs.
