BlueCross BlueShield of Michigan is one of the country's top Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance associations. It serves almost five million people.

The company's insurance plans include traditional indemnity plans, PPOs (called Blue Preferred), and HMOs (called Blue Care Network).

Blue Care Network has the largest network of physicians and hospitals in the state with more than 3,100 primary care phyisiancs, 7,400 specialists and 110 hospitals.

BlueCross BlueShield of Michigan also offers Medicare supplement coverage.
