Blue Cross of Idaho began serving customers in 1945, and now employs more than 685 people at its headquarters in Meridian, Idaho, with additional staff in Coeur d'Alene, Lewiston, Twin Falls, Pocatello and Idaho Falls.Today, Blue Cross of Idaho has more than 380,000 members in its individual health insurance plans.

- an inpatient hospital and surgical plan (BlueCare Basic PPO); and
- a health insurance plan which qualifies to be used with a health savings account (HSA Blue).
